I run TT rear wheels all the way around 16x8.5+35 and I think they 'look' fairly good in terms of filling out the wheel well. So maybe what you should look for is 17x8.5+35mm (front) 17x9.5+35mm (rear) You could run a little more offset in the rear (assuming you'll clear the HICAS linkage).
One more note. I know the many of the track proven cars run 9" wide or 9.5" wide wheels all around. Theoretically speaking you'd want to run as small a tire as possible in the front so as to reduce you rolling resistance. The same is true of the rear....only that the rear should probably be bigger as you need a wide tire to put down the power. So in the rear you want to be right at the traction limit. In the end it all boils down to driving style too.
